Is this a good accordion?

A while ago, I bought a cheapy accordion at an antique shop and I have decided that I wanted to upgrade. So I'm looking at a Hohner Hohnica 2353 Piano Accordion. It looks pretty good to me, but I'm no expert with accordions. Here is the link to the page. http://www.playmusic123.com/HOHNER+HOHNICA+TREMOLO+PIANO+ACCORDION+72+BASS+34+KEYS+-+RED+PEARL%2C+2353~product~494.htm Someone please tell me if it is worth investing $600 in.

I've played this accordion and will agree that it a beginners instrument. In my opinion, it just didn't feel or sound very well made. Accordions are usually an expensive instruments to begin with and the $600 price is probably about right.

If you haven't tried one of these yet, I'd worry you may find that your "cheapie" antique store accordion better made and sound better, even if it needs some tlc.

If you can afford a little more, check out Weltmeister accordions. They make a better quality student model called the "Achat".

It's still a student model though - you could also look into finding a used Italian instrument - I'd recommend that if you have any shops that would have used accordions nearby.
